Some things to bear in mind
Every mortgage lender or mortgage broker has to complete a "Fact Find" and issue a Key Features Illustration (KFI).
The difference is that a mortgage broker only needs to do this once per contract.
A mortgage broker will save you a lot of time
A couple of years ago it may have taken us four or five hours of admin work to place a mortgage with a lender.
Times have changed and the amount of work, chasing up and following up now represents something like double or
tripple that time.
